Mega Mash4+ songs · one chain · no underscore

I don’t know if you noticed or not, but the service is over. If you are still here, that means you came to worship. C’mon someone where my worshippers at? Now go get your kids, and bring em back here, for this moment, show them what it means to praise God.

from the platform

A worship night and a conference session do not end well on a set list. They want one long climb — four or more songs joined seam by seam, each handoff earned by a shared loop until you went so hard, you had to stop before someone has a medical emergency.

The set list ends. The chain keeps going.

Build a chain

Intro, songs, outro. Drag song slots and seams from the bottom drawer onto the canvas; the right drawer tracks the clock and holds the lyric flow — where one song’s line answers another’s.

Over and Over → Forever and Ever Amen

Seventeen minutes, four songs and a tag, every seam scored by the same matching engine that runs the Finder — including the two seams the engine rejects, and why the arrangement crosses them anyway.

A mega mashup, live

The conference recording — NL Worship at Rust City Church. This is the shape the builder is for: one long climb, seams crossed on purpose, nobody reaching for a set list.

What the builder does

The Service, Baptism, Dedication and Conference builders each model one shape of a service. This one models a chain: songs end to end, with the seams as first-class objects. All six below are working now.

Seam scoringlive

Drop two songs together and the engine gives its verdict on the section pair — exact, rotation, near substitution, or rejected — before anyone rehearses it.

Crossings that are not harmonylive

A rejected seam is not a dead seam. Make it a splice, a tag, a guitar solo, a drums-only break or an underscore, and the chain keeps its shape. Drums-only crosses into any key at all.

Exhortation over a songlive

Talk rides on top of a song rather than between two, and every underscore has to say which way it travels — rising, falling or holding. An undirected one prints DIRECTION NOT SET.

Time budgetlive

Songs, seams and overlays each carry their own minutes, with a running total and the target band. Seventeen minutes without underscore is a real constraint.

Lyric handoffslive

The seams no chord chart shows — where one song’s line answers another’s — written in the right drawer and carried onto the printed sheet.

Click and key ladderlive

The chain’s tempo climb rung by rung, and the one key everything has to live in. Where a song does not already play that key, the cost is shown from the team key nearest to it — a capo where the neck allows, a transpose where it does not.
