Terms of service.
Plan Worship is a free planning tool for worship teams. This page says what we measure, what we never do, and what you get for what you choose to share. It is short because there is not much to hide.
Your data is never sold. Your plans never leave your browser.
The short version
- We count visits by IP address to understand the tool's reach. Nothing more is read from you.
- Your planning work — songs, sets, flows — lives in your own browser, on your own machine.
- Everything beyond an anonymous visit is opt-in, and every opt-in can be undone.
What we measure
ReachWhen you visit, your IP address is used to count the visit and approximate where in the world Plan Worship is being used — a region on a map, not a name on a list. This is how we know whether the tool is serving three churches or three hundred, and it is the whole of what happens automatically.
AttributionThe six calls-to-action on the home page are tracked, so we know which doors people actually walk through. Those counts steer the feature roadmap: the doors used most get built first.
What we never do
- Your data is never sold. Not to advertisers, not to brokers, not to anyone, not ever.
- Your plans are not kept on a server. Your plans, setlists and songbook edits are stored by your browser on your device. They are not transmitted to us, which means we could not sell them even if we wanted to. Visit counts are the only thing measured, and those are counts — see Third parties.
- Statistics are counts, not identities. What we keep is arithmetic — how many, roughly where — not who.
What you share is up to you
- Share nothing
Completely fine. We can approximate your location from your IP address, and that is all we have — and all we use.
- Share your email
We will contact you about updates to the Claude plugin and MCP server. They are gated because they are beta software: when an improvement or a fix ships, we need to know exactly who to inform.
- Share your email + opt in to marketing
You will also receive the RCI newsletter about other community tools. Opt-in only — leaving the box unchecked costs you nothing.
- Share your cell + opt in to texting
You will get product updates by SMS, with an opportunity to unsubscribe in every single message. Message and data rates may apply.
Every tier is separate. Giving an email does not opt you into marketing; giving a number does not opt you into texts. The checkbox does.
Third parties
Five services help deliver this site: IPStack performs the IP-to-location lookups, Vercel hosts the pages, Google Analytics counts visits and which tools get opened, and SoundCloud serves the one embedded recording on the Mega Mash page, and HubSpot runs the sign-up form on the Coming Soon pages and stores the list it builds. Each processes traffic under its own terms in order to serve you this site. None of them is handed your planning data by us. HubSpot is the single exception on contact details, and only for what you type into the sign-up form yourself: it receives your email, and your phone number if you choose to give one. The other four never see either.
Google Analytics is the one that keeps anything: page views, rough location, device and browser, and a click count for each of the six tools. It sets its own cookie and stores that on Google’s servers, not ours. We turned off advertising features and ad personalisation, so it measures whether the tools get used and nothing else. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not load it at all — and it never runs on a copy you opened from your own disk.
The SoundCloud player on the Mega Mash page is an embed: it loads from SoundCloud when you open that page, and SoundCloud can see that request under its own terms. It does not autoplay. Nowhere else on the site loads it, and no other page embeds anything.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Every SMS includes a way out. Using either removes you promptly and completely — no exit interview, no lingering list.
The tool itself
Plan Worship is provided free, as-is, in the hope that it protects a worship leader's time. Song data you import remains yours; chord charts and songs referenced by the tool remain the property of their writers and publishers, and using the tool does not grant any license to them.
The songbook
The songbook ships free of charge, and it grows more valuable the more of it is yours. Transpose your own charts into Nashville numbers to get the most out of it — and for the most mashup bang for your buck, add your songs to ours: every row you add gives the matcher more to work with.
One honest caveat: the songbook is an approximation of the truth, because music is an approximation of a science. Every section is reduced to a four-chord stanza so that songs can find each other. The nuance lives in the charts, and we are not responsible for those — confirm by ear, and by the chart you actually play from.
The additional tools
The Additional Tools linked from the home page are unsponsored, and we are not affiliated with any of them in any way — no commissions, no partnerships, no money changing hands. They are freemium products that charge to support their cause, and each has a genuinely useful free tier that will further accelerate your worship-leader journey. We link them because they are good, not because we are paid to.
About RCI
RCI is an FSO that builds a community operating system with faith-based partners. Plan Worship is one of its community tools.

The part that knows your people
This page explains what we never keep. The next thing being built needs the opposite — a read-only connector to the volunteer system you already keep, so a plan can know who is actually scheduled. Built on credentials you create and control.
