Baptism Flow Builder

The elastic set: simple same-key songs the MD can cue live, with the build timed to the dunk.

How it works

A baptism will not keep time. The water runs long, a testimony runs short, and the count of candidates is a guess until the morning. So this is not a set list — it is a pool of simple songs in one key that the Music Director can cue live, plus a per-candidate cycle (testimony, dunk, a chorus tagged over the top) whose total minutes follow the candidate count rather than the clock.

One celebration song is held back for the end, and one flex song sits in reserve for when the water outlasts the plan.

The four-chord model

Every song section is reduced to a loose four-chord Nashville-number loop, so the tools can score which sections share a progression. Matching is approximate by design: fitting a section into four bars drops a 9th, a 7th, a passing chord — results tell you which chart to pull up next, not the exact phrasing.
